ABOUT US:

Established in 2016 for the wedding of Angela Acox to Michael Mueller, Birchview Outdoor Wedding and Event Center is located on the grounds of Mueller’s Orchard and Cider Mill, a family owned orchard in Fenton Twp., Michigan since 1941.

William and Marie Mueller chose this sight for their orchard, due to the high elevation, to prevent frost damage to their crops. This, in turn, gives our guests at Birchview a spectacular view of southern Genesee County and the rolling hills of northern Livingston County.

Birchview Outdoor wedding & Event Center features a bar area, bathrooms and a private bridal suite, a 40' x 84' reception pavilion overing a decorative cement pad and is illuminated by hanging chandeliers. A ceremonial pergola, barn, fire pit are all connected by a winding exposed aggregate sidewalk which makes it easy for guests to enjoy an outdoor setting, while having the convenience to either dress formally or casual, depending on the events dress attire.

 The ceremonial pergola overlooks a natural pond with an island of birch trees, which inspired the name of our venue.

 The steps leading down to the ceremonial pergola are lined with natural stone boulder walls.  All the rocks and

 boulders were all removed at one point from the orchard property while preparing fields to plant apple trees.

The bridal suite, located in the upstairs of the barn, gives the bride and bridesmaids a private area to prepare for their special day, while overlooking the grounds from a private balcony. The balcony is also a perfect spot for the bride and groom’s wedding pictures. The bridal suite is also equipped with its own private bathroom.

A reception pavilion will be illuminated by hanging chandeliers and positioned over a cement pad equipped with power. There is also a sidewalk that leads from the barn to the reception pavilion and then out to the driveway. The reception pavilion faces the southeast and gives our guests a stunning view of the Apple Orchard and the rolling hills of northern Livingston County.
